As of today’s date Tuesday 5th May 2020, the MG Owners’ Club continues to strictly follow UK Government advice during the ongoing COVID-19 Coronavirus epidemic.
Clearly we are unable to receive any visitors to Octagon House for the foreseeable future, however the Club is currently providing a full service to our membership with many of our staff working from home. You are welcome to contact us by telephone or email so please call us on 01954 231125 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any queries and also to assist you whilst on “lockdown” with your MG in your garage, technical advice is available on 01954 234003. Should you want to discuss potential work on your MG with the Club Workshop please do call 01954 234001. The purchase of parts and Club merchandise is unaffected so please browse our websites as usual and place your orders on-line; however transit times for deliveries may be slightly longer than usual due to the high demand on carriers. Please click here https://www.mgocspares.co.uk/operational-update/ for the latest information regarding our spares operation.
We are aware that many of our local MGOC Area Groups have planned a large number of events throughout the Spring and Summer, which include scenic runs and attending static shows, also there are many third party organisations that had a full programme of large scale events planned. Practically all of these various events have been cancelled or postponed to later in the year or indeed rescheduled in 2021. Please keep checking our forthcoming events section on our website www.mgownersclub.co.uk over the coming weeks and we will post updated information as it becomes available. As this is a rapidly changing situation, we will keep everything under review so please visit our website regularly for the latest information.
Please remember you can also stay in touch with the Club and other Members through our Facebook page or our Members’ forum. We do hope that we may be able to enjoy getting behind the wheel of our MGs before too long but in the meantime, please stay safe yourself and if you are able, please be mindful of others that you may be able to communicate with during the ongoing isolation that continues to affect us all.
